Trip to Showstopper Dance Championships was An Exciting One
Abbotsford, CN--May 18, 2012 --
In Tacoma last weekend, Abbotsford Dance Center
competed against dozens of dance studios from around the state and area for
prestigious top honors at Showstopper, the largest Dance Competition in the Country.
Their entries placed as follows:
Jillian Haima received 4th place overall in Junior Competitive Solo,
''Stop the Rock'' received 10th place overall in Junior Competitive DuetTrio,
''Pie Jesu'' received 6th place overall in Junior Competitive Duet/Trio,
''Girls Will Be Girls'' received 3rd place overall in Mini Competitive Duet/Trio,
Zoe Gilbert received 10th place overall in Junior Competitive Solo,
''Sense of 2'' received 5th place overall in Senior Competitive Duet/Trio,
Natasha Orchison received 3rd place overall in Junior Advanced Solo, and
Abbotsford Dance Center received 2 crystal awards; 6 double platinum awards;
6 platinum awards; 5 gold awards;
This qualifies them to go to the Showstopper National Finals in either
Myrtle Beach, Anaheim, or Galveston this summer .
