 BOP TO THE TOP IN HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL
AGES 7-18
“Class is back in session” at ABBOTSFORD DANCE CENTRE and the gang at “East High” will never be the same again thanks to this one week Musical Theatre Intensive!! Students will learn a One-Act 60 Minute Production of High School Musical Jr. and perform it on a real stage with sets, costumes, lighting and an audience. Performers will gain first hand experience on how a Broadway Musical is put together, while learning oodles of choreography, singing and acting techniques.
The music is catchy, mixing in a dash of hip-hop and salsa for just plain fun. The songs include: Get'cha Head In The Game, Bop To The Top, What I've Been Looking For, Wildcat Cheer, Start Of Something New, Stick To The Status Quo, When There Was Me And You, Breaking Free, We're All In This Together, and more.
Spots are limited, so come transform yourself into Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan or the rest of the Wildcats and bring their special brand of school spirit to a stage near you!

Times: 10:00am to 2:00pm with a 30 Minute Lunch Break

Pussycat Dolls Hiphop Bootcamp
July 20th - July 31st 6pm-8pm Ages 12+
This 2 hour bootcamp will include fun up-beat girly hiphop combos, ways to stay in shape over the summer, some healthy food tips each day, and theme of colors and fun styles to wear each week to class. Classes will run Monday, Wed and Friday for two weeks and the cost is $ 126.00 for the full session.

Boys Only Breakin Bootcamp
July 20th - July 31st 6pm-8pm Ages 7+
This 2 hour bootcamp is a Boys only workshop. The class will consist of Breakin, poppin, locking and street jazz. Classes will run Monday, Wed and Friday for two weeks and the cost is $ 126.00 for the full session.

Once upon a dance Class
Ages 3 + July 22nd-July 31st
The class is an 6 class course, perfect for the family who prefers a short term commitment in dance.The summer program is a 45 minute class, gets together three times a week (Mon,Wed , Fri) , and focuses on a different fairytail Princess per class. Each student has their own treasure box full of Princess treats.
The students will explore the story of a different princess every week. They will usually do a craft associated to the princess and dance the story in princess costume. This class has the advantage of being a short term class with out performance expectations at the end of the term. This is also the perfect class for friends to attend together, and have a good time together. This class is $60 + GST.

Progressions across the floor. This Jazz technique class will assist in keeping your flexibility and Strength throughout the summer.

Feel the Beat
July 20th - July 31st 11:30-2:30, Ages 6+
This dance camp is for children ages 6+ who are beginner or intermediate level dancers. Throughout this week students will be introduced to a variety of dance forms.They will experience basic classes in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Irish, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Contortion and Hiphop. 11:30 - 2:30 on Monday, Wed and Friday for $150 + gst

Ballet Intensive summer Program
Jr, Intermediate and Senior Level
August 24th - 28th
Junior - 3:30 pm - one hour class - $50/ session
Intermediate - 4:30-6:00pm -1.5 hr class - $75/session
Senior - 6:15-7:45pm - 1.5 hour class - $75/session
Intensive Ballet class that will focus on Ballet syllabus. Class is open to any present ballet student, but is strongly recommended for Exam candidates.
